The opportunity quilt, “History Revisited…Old is New Again,” was made with patterns copied from quilts in the collection of the North Carolina Museum of History. Members of the Fabricator Bee (Capital Quilters Guild) used a variety of batiks and current fabrics to give the piece a fresh contemporary look. The quilt was custom machine-quilted by Sarah Porreca. Capital Quilters guild members are selling tickets for this beautiful 96”x80” batik quilt to benefit Alzheimer’s Association-Eastern NC chapter. Opportunity Quilt Tickets: $1 each or 6 for $5 You may purchase tickets at CQG's monthly meeting, at symposium in June or contact us at ncqs11@capitalquilters.org to find out where to get tickets. |
