2011 North Carolina Quilt Symposium
"History Revisited ~ Old is New Again"
June 2-5, 2011
Peace College
Raleigh, NC
Join us for our quilt show held in conjunction with the 2011 North Carolina Quilt Symposium at Peace College. Symposium is sponsored by North Carolina Quilt Symposium, Inc. (NCQSI) and hosted by Capital Quilters Guild. We will have all the symposium details online in January.
The opportunity quilt, “History Revisited…Old is New Again,” was made with patterns copied from quilts in the collection of the North Carolina Museum of History. Members of the Fabricator Bee (Capital Quilters Guild) used a variety of batiks and current fabrics to give the piece a fresh contemporary look. The quilt was custom machine-quilted by Sarah Porreca.
Capital Quilters guild members are selling tickets for this beautiful 96”x80” batik quilt to benefit Alzheimer’s Association-Eastern NC chapter.
Opportunity Quilt Tickets: $1 each or 6 for $5
