Capital Quilters of Raleigh, NC

Welcome to The Capital Quilters Guild!

WE ARE BACK
We have been incredibly quiet waiting, as a lot of people have, to see what is going to happen. Now we are moving forward. There are a lot of things planned, and all you must do to be part of it is make sure that you have joined the guild, and then all the upcoming events are open to you. Here are just a few of the events we are planning and or working on a way to do them.

  • Vote in the Board
  • Do the President’s Challenge
  • Start Sew Society again
  • Block Party again
  • Guilt Show
  • Virtual workshops
  • Quilt pickups
  • Do Christmas Stocking for Interact

And of course, we are open to all ideas from the membership.

This is the slate that membership will be voting on. If there is anyone that you would like to nominate please add to your ballot. To vote just send in to information@capitalquilters.org a simple Yes or No with your name so we know it is coming from a paid member. Membership must be in by 10/8/20. You have till 10/10/20 to get you vote in.

Capital Quilters Guild is a vibrant, dynamic and friendly guild. We have a number of different ongoing activities – it is our hope that we have something for everyone. We offer classes with nationally known teachers, Secret Sew-ciety Swap, block party, quilt show, Comfort quilt donations, a library stocked with wonderful quilt books, information of bees, and much, much more.

Our members are talented artists with varied interests in everything from full size traditional bed quilts to modern pillows. We love to show off our work at Show and Tell and would love to see what you are up to as well! If you haven’t attended a meeting before, come to our next meeting as a guest or go ahead and grab a membership form.
